Best lead generation companies for M&A advisors and business brokers (2026)

Eleven companies and tools that advisors, bankers, brokers and private equity firms use to generate deal flow, with who each one is actually best for. We are on the list, so we say so up front.

Full disclosure: Scout Mandate wrote this page and we are one of the options on it. We have tried to describe every company the way its own website does, as of September 2026, and to say plainly when someone else is the better fit. If we got something wrong about your company, email trenton@scoutmandate.com and we will fix it.

Done-for-you outbound for sell-side firms

Scout Mandate

Best for: M&A advisors, investment bankers, business brokers and private equity firms that want cold calling and email run together, for them, at one flat fee.

That is us. A dedicated caller plus managed email works a fresh list of 1,200 to 1,500 owners every month, and meetings get booked onto your calendar. Pricing is published: $3,995 per month, month to month, with no pay-per-appointment charges and no success fee. We do not promise a number of meetings. Worth knowing: Scout Mandate is a newer firm, but our founder has been generating deal flow since 2018. If a long company track record is your first requirement, Launch Leads, Centergrowth and CapTarget each say they have been operating for 15 years or more.

Centergrowth

Best for: business brokers who want high-volume, call-driven seller appointments.

Centergrowth runs outbound cold calling and email that books seller appointments for business brokers, and its site says it has been trusted for more than 15 years. Pricing is not published. Of everything on this list it is the closest like-for-like to what we do, for brokers specifically.

Launch Leads

Best for: firms that want an established, US-based calling team with a broad B2B record.

Launch Leads has dedicated business broker and M&A offerings built on phone-led prospecting and appointment setting. Its site says it has operated since 2009 and describes its pricing as a monthly retainer or pay for performance, without publishing amounts.

Deal Originators

Best for: brokers or advisors who want a results-based arrangement and a trial period.

Deal Originators offers off-market deal origination with booked meetings for business brokers, private equity and investment bankers. Its site advertises a results guarantee and a free or discounted trial for accepted clients. Pricing and the specific outreach channels are not published.

Danish Lead Co.

Best for: boutique investment banks and M&A advisory firms that want an email-only system at a published flat price.

Danish Lead Co. builds email-based outbound for sell-side mandate origination. Its site lists a flat $4,000 per month for a single thesis with a 90-day minimum and no success fee. No phone calling is described.

ProspectOut

Best for: solo brokers on a small budget who want email and LinkedIn only.

ProspectOut runs cold email and LinkedIn outreach for business brokers and M&A advisors. It publishes its pricing: plans from $500 per month, with per-meeting and percentage-of-deal options, plus tool costs. No cold calling is described.

Buy-side sourcing, networks and data

CapTarget

Best for: private equity firms, search funds and corporate acquirers who want buy-side sourcing.

CapTarget runs managed deal origination for acquirers: off-market email, direct calling to owners, and coverage of bankers and brokers. Its site says it has operated since 2009, charges flat monthly subscriptions with no success fees, and publishes ranges rather than promises. It serves buyers, so sell-side advisors and brokers are its deal sources, not its clients.

Axial

Best for: advisors who already have a mandate and need qualified buyers.

Axial is a private deal network for the North American lower middle market that matches owners, advisors and investors. Its site says it is complimentary for qualified M&A advisors, with investors paying when a transaction closes. It helps you market a deal you have. It does not go and find you the seller.

Grata and Sourcescrub

Best for: teams with in-house analysts or business development staff who will do their own outreach.

Grata and Sourcescrub are private-company data and search platforms, and their sites say the two are joining forces. They give you the target list and the intelligence. Someone on your team still has to pick up the phone. Pricing is by demo.

General B2B agencies

Cleverly

Best for: low-budget, LinkedIn-first outreach where you handle the replies.

Cleverly is a B2B lead generation agency best known for LinkedIn outreach, with plans its site says start at $397 per month. It serves general B2B and we did not find an M&A-specific offering.

Belkins

Best for: larger B2B sales teams that want high-volume, multichannel appointment setting.

Belkins is a general B2B appointment-setting agency operating since 2017, according to its site, working across email, calling and LinkedIn in 50 or more industries. Pricing is not published, and we did not find an M&A-specific offering.

How to choose

  1. Are you buying companies or winning mandates? Buy-side acquirers should start with CapTarget. Sell-side advisors, bankers and brokers need a firm that calls owners on their behalf.
  2. Do you want the work done, or the data? Grata and Sourcescrub give you lists. The outbound firms do the reaching out.
  3. Phone, email, or both? Owners of private companies answer the phone more than they answer email. Email-only and LinkedIn-only options cost less and reach fewer owners. See cold calling vs cold email.
  4. How do you want to pay? Flat monthly, pay per meeting, or a share of the deal. Each one changes what the vendor is rewarded for. See how the pricing models compare.
  5. Ask for the volume in writing. Whoever you pick, get the monthly list size, dials and sends on paper, and ask how often you will see the numbers.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best lead generation company for M&A advisors?

It depends on what you need. For done-for-you cold calling plus email at a flat monthly fee, Scout Mandate. For an email-only system at a published flat price, Danish Lead Co. For a long-established calling team, Launch Leads. For buy-side sourcing, CapTarget. For data to run your own outreach, Grata or Sourcescrub.

What is the best lead generation company for business brokers?

Brokers who want seller appointments from cold calling should look at Scout Mandate and Centergrowth. Brokers on a small budget who want email and LinkedIn only should look at ProspectOut. Deal Originators offers a results-based arrangement with a trial.

How much does lead generation for M&A advisors cost?

Published prices on this list range from about $397 per month for LinkedIn-only outreach to about $4,000 per month for done-for-you outbound. Scout Mandate is $3,995 per month for calling plus email. Several firms do not publish pricing.

Should I pay per appointment or a flat monthly fee?

Pay per appointment looks safer but rewards the vendor for booking meetings rather than good meetings. A flat fee rewards consistent work but leaves you carrying a slow month. Whichever you choose, get the qualification standard and the monthly volume in writing.

Do any of these companies guarantee results?

A few advertise guarantees on their websites. Scout Mandate does not promise a number of meetings; we commit to the monthly volume of work and review results every two weeks. Read the terms of any guarantee carefully, including what counts as a qualified meeting.

How was this list made?

We read each company's own website in September 2026 and described what it says it sells, who it serves and what it publishes about pricing. We did not test the services. Scout Mandate wrote the page and is one of the entries.
